Brickwall Films was formed in April, 2005 by Alex Walker and Jon Brichto. Alex had spent the previous five years working on various projects in the video and film production industry while Jon came from a more business based background. They set up Brickwall Films to fulfil their passion to create independent, innovative and successful films.
Jon: We chose to specialise in digital video and film production, offering clients a variety of services, from a comprehensive ‘one-stop-shop’ service (conceptualisation and storyboarding, through filming, to post-production and ‘final cut’ delivery) to an individual production service.
Alex: We basically wanted to set up a company that does not have any limits in terms of what kind of project we will take on board. This allows us to be creative and at the same time produce a varying catalogue; but most importantly it means there is no limit to what we can or can’t produce.
Brickwall Films has produced videos for a number of corporate clients including a series of documentary films for the NHS, designed to reassure patients about the surgical procedures they are about to face.
We have made music videos for artists such as Hey Negrita, 26 Feet and Andrea Wilde all of which have been broadcast on either the VH channels or MTV. We have recently completed a mini-documentary on Hey Negrita’s tour of the USA which was shown on Channel 4.
In 2007 Adam Brichto joined the Brickwall Films team to drive our expansion, specifically in the healthcare sector. This year we have also moved into full length feature production with We Dreamed America premiering at this year's South by South West Festival in Austin, Texas. |
